These Terms and Conditions contain legal obligations and In The City Tours encourages you to read them carefully. It is under these Terms and Conditions that bookings are made and accepted by In The City Tours. Unless otherwise stated, any purchases made through In The City Tours or any booking agent are subject to these Terms & Conditions. When a Customer makes a booking, it will be deemed they have accepted the Terms & Conditions on behalf of all persons included in the booking and consents to these Terms & Conditions by using In The City Tours or any booking agent. No changes or variations to these Terms & Conditions will be accepted unless agreed in writing by In The City Tours.

The prices appearing on the website are the current rates and can change with no prior notice. Once a Customer has booked a tour with In The City Tours the Customer will not be required to pay any difference in the event of a price increase and In The City Tours will not refund the balance of any price reduction. All prices are per person unless otherwise stated.

Customers must bring their valid e-ticket to the tour, e-tickets will be emailed out by In The City Tours or booking agents when tours are purchased on-line. The tour guide will have a list of people who are expected, but your e-ticket will be required to confirm payment, and will also be necessary in the event of last-minute bookings and/or booking error. The e-ticket entitles the named customer to join the tour on the date specified. It cannot be used for another person, or for another day.

In The City Tours offers 100% refunds if the reservation is cancelled or amended more than 24 hours (1 day) prior to the scheduled tour.

In The City Tours does not offer refunds for any reason once within 24 hours of the scheduled tour.

In the highly unlikely event of a tour being cancelled we will offer an alternative tour date or refund.

In The City Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour, if minimum numbers have not been reached. In this instance, we would make every effort to accommodate your booking on a suitable, alternative date.

The tour will start at the time stated. The guide will not be able to answer their phone to give you directions you once the tour has started. If you call the office before the tour starts to explain that you may be late, we may be able to direct you to a place where you can join the group, but this is not always possible. We do not offer refunds to people who miss the tour because they are late. London has regular road and transport closures due to charity runs, festivals and other fun events as well as engineering works. You are responsible for making allowance for any potential delays to your arrival.

You are strongly encouraged to obtain Travel insurance. In certain circumstances, this will cover the cost of any cancellation.

If you are dissatisfied with your experience and would like to request a refund, please state your reasons clearly in an email to bookings@inthecitytours.com. This does not include customers who neglected to turn up for their tour at the designated time. Refunds will be made at the discretion of In The City Tours.

Our tours go ahead in poor weather. However, venues can decide not to open at their discretion. In the highly unlikely event this occurs, the guide will deliver a slightly different tour. If you are not happy with this, you will be offered an alternative date or refund by contacting bookings@inthecitytours.com.

Personal Property is your own responsibility, In The City Tours will not be liable for any theft, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by In The City Tours, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price. Each customer is responsible for maintaining their safety at all times and by agreeing to take part on the tour, all customers are agreeing to listen to the safety instructions given by the guide and to exercise due care and attention whilst walking.

While In The City Tours makes every effort to provide an on-time service, In The City Tours is not liable for acts of God, fire, weather, acts of governments or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, terrorist acts, strikes, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, dangers incident to sea, land and air travel, road conditions, mechanical problems, or other similar incidents beyond its control. In The City Tours is not liable for any inconvenience or expense caused as a result of such delay.

In The City Tours may, at our discretion, require any person to be excluded from a tour if In The City Tours deems his or her conduct to be offensive or a nuisance to other customers. In The City Tours also reserves the right to refuse access to participate on a particular tour should circumstances be deemed to compromise tour safety.
